Flying Without Wings
And then the A1 flew right past her. Momentarily stunned, she quickly started to give chase. She ran as fast as she could, summoning all her strength to push her forward - she wanted that A1; she needed that A1.
The A1 flew further and further from view. It flew and it flew and it flew and it wouldn't stop flying. Her legs were getting tired, fatigue was fast setting in - oh, that blasted lactic acid.
Then it happened. The A1 flew off the edge of the cliff as she screeched to a halt, stopping, thankfully, before she too, fell into the ravine below. She couldn't believe it. It was gone. Even desperate chasing was no longer an option. It was really gone.
She looked up, defeat written all over her face, only to see the A1 turn back - for just a brief moment - to smirk at her, before it continued on it's never ending flight, away from her...out of reach.
There was nothing more she could do. Sighing, she got up, and trudged back in the direction from which she had started running.
Yes. There was still more AMath waiting for her.

aw, cheer up, lesley. it's just one paper. your humans will pull you up. besides, there's still paper 2 (strange how having more papers has become a good thing). and remember, the magical word: MODERATION.

hello lesley! an A1 flying away... hmmm remember physics?(or whatever sec 2 recollection of general science we have?)there's gotta be a wall far far away, which things even invincible like sound hits and travel backwards?let your trust in Him above stand as that wall..it may seem far far and almost "unreachable", but...undeniably, ITS actually RIGHT THERE (blind to the naked eye though). just somewhere reachable in roughly 30 days or so, and everything good and wonderful WILL come bouncing back, in full steam.
Lets rejoice in this ability to make stupid, freakishly irritating, careless mistakes because its imperfections which make us beautiful...(shan! you see, i am NOT a perfectionist)
Anyway you seem to feel you have lost that A1 but you have definitely topped my charts of 'fantastic prelim sms/call pals'!(alongside the winners..shan, alyssa, jean, lorraine, chiawen!) heh u're are my idols man! who needs Singapore Idol with you guys around? thats a sure 'no-need moderation' A1 for you lesley!=D

hey hello! haha i didn't know you had a blog until..today. the flying A1 story is really funny!:) "oh, that blasted lactic acid" hahahaha. anyway, i think i have more A1s have flown past me and down the cliff than you. oh well, i guess we all just have to run faster and catch those A1s.
